The Lore
Ella is a wolf girl who works under the goddess Medina. She has worked for Medina for a long time and is one of the wolves she trusts to help with different jobs, protect things that are important to her, and be there whenever she is needed.Ella has always been a really hard worker, sometimes a little too much. Even when she was meant to be resting, she would usually find something else that needed to be done instead.Medina noticed this and decided that Ella deserved to have somewhere that was completely her own.As a reward for all of her hard work, Medina gifted Ella a place called the Astral Forest. The Astral Forest is a peaceful forest hidden away from the normal world, filled with glowing plants, little streams, misty paths and trees that always seem to have stars shining through them. It was made to be somewhere Ella could go whenever she needed to get away from everything and actually relax. The most important part was that Medina didn't give Ella the forest as another job.She gave it to her so she could rest.Of course, Ella being Ella, that didn't completely work.Over time she became really attached to the forest and started looking after it anyway. Not because Medina told her to, but because it became her home and she wanted to protect it.Sometimes lost spirits, creatures or people manage to find their way into the Astral Forest too. Ella usually doesn't mind them being there as long as they aren't causing trouble, and some of them even end up staying.Because of that, the forest has slowly become more than just Ella's place to relax. It's become a safe place for strange little creatures who don't really have anywhere else to go.There are stories that if you wander far enough away from the normal world, you might eventually find a path covered in moonlight. If you follow it, it might lead you into the Astral Forest. And somewhere inside you'll probably find Ella, Medina's wolf, trying to enjoy the peaceful forest she was given as a reward...while somehow still finding things to look after.
